It's essential to understand that our estate provides a beautiful and versatile 'blank canvas' for your event. We do not provide any event-specific equipment, furniture, or decorations. You will be responsible for bringing in all required materials and equipment to create the atmosphere and functionality that your event requires. 

This venue is a private estate with limited parking facilities. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests are responsible for arranging suitable parking accommodations. Consider options such as ride-sharing, public transport, or sourcing alternative off-site parking options. 

We require all guests to obtain Special Event Insurance to safeguard against potential liabilities that may occur during their event.

Additionally, any third-party vendors or suppliers engaged by the guest must maintain liability and other requisite insurance with coverage of no less than One Million Dollars ($1,000,000). This is to protect the vendor against any liabilities that may arise from their involvement in the event.

Our venue, the White Hacienda, must also be included as an additional insured on these policies for the entire span of the contract. This ensures that we are covered against any potential liabilities or damages arising from the event or the operations of any third-party vendors or suppliers.

All alcoholic beverages served at the event venue must be provided and served by a licensed and insured catering or bartending company. Self-service of alcohol by guests is strictly prohibited. 

For any event involving alcohol, including but not limited to wedding receptions, fundraisers, wine tastings, and corporate parties, the presence of security personnel is mandatory. This policy is non-negotiable and has been established for the safety of all guests. Please note, the cost of this service is generally incorporated into the venue rental fee, unless specifically stated otherwise. 

No, for the safety and comfort of all guests, smoking is not permitted in the casita or on the property. This includes cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and any other tobacco products.   

We have a number of exotic birds on the property, including parrots, and the smoke from cigarettes can be harmful and even deadly to these sensitive animals. We ask that all guests respect this policy and refrain from smoking inside or outside the vacation rental.

We provide flexibility when it comes to decorating our venue, allowing you to imbue the space with your personal touch and creativity. Our aim is for you to transform the venue to align with your vision for the event, with a few exceptions for the sake of safety and the preservation of our property. 

Our venue offers flexibility when it comes to catering. You are welcome to choose any licensed and insured catering company that best suits your needs. However, we require proof of their licensure and insurance for our records. Please note, all caterers are expected to respect our venue, leaving the kitchen and other areas clean and undamaged post-event. If you need recommendations for local catering services, we are happy to assist. 

The cost to rent our venue is determined by a variety of factors, including the size of your guest list, the length of your event, and any additional amenities or services you choose. It's also worth noting that our rental rates fluctuate based on the season and the day of the week. We welcome the opportunity to arrange a private tour for you to view our personal estate before confirming your booking. Please bear in mind, given that this is our private residence, we require that visits are pre-scheduled. This approach ensures we can provide you with our full attention, addressing any queries you may have during your tour.

While our venue does provide an outdoor bathroom, given the private nature of our estate and potential size of events, we require that guests arrange for additional restroom facilities. Specifically, we recommend the rental of high-quality portable toilets to adequately accommodate your guests. This ensures a comfortable and seamless experience for all attendees. 

No, we understand that pets are important members of the family but  we have a number of exotic birds on the property that add to the unique charm. While the birds are not able to enter the vacation rental, they do have a habitat on the property, and we want to ensure that they are not disturbed by any additional pets.
